Music with funny accents

There is something weird about my taste in music (shut up Ruth) but I am noticing a pattern recently. Lately, I seem to be a little obsessed with music produced by women with funny accents. I listened to Billy Bragg and Kate Nash duet of “A New England” (not as good as the Kirsty MacColl and Bragg duet but okay…) and was all a flutter over Nash’s faux Cockney accent. Then I listened to a Paul Kelly and Missy Higgins duet of “From Little Things, Big Things Grow” and decided I absolutely loved some of the verses done in Higgin’s ‘strine accent.
