New house

Well I finally managed to buy a house - settlement is middle of April. It’s in Collingwood - a hop, skip and jump (in the unlikely event I ever exercise) from my current home. It’s a little further away from the city but still close enough for my needs. I had been looking in Brunswick but had decided Collingwood is a much more sensible venue. It’s closer in and most of the places I looked at in West Brunswick were quite a hike from shops and transport. Especially since I am either on foot or on wheels. It’s a nice little single-fronted weather board house with three bedrooms, an open plan living area, two bathrooms and a nice kitchen - mmmm nice kitchen. Actually having a kitchen I can cook in is going to be great - my current digs are not conducive to easy cooking as I have no room and no bench space and limited fridge size. So perhaps if I have any money left over I might buy a new fridge … and possibly a new washing machine given how fucked my current one is. Sick of lint-covered clothes. :) I have some photos y’all can have a look at here (not my furniture BTW - previous owners…).
