West Brunswick

So it looks like the house will sell (thank dog…). So now I need to find somewhere to live. Somewhere close in but cheap’ish. And I’d prefer a house not an apartment and I’d like a garden for the kitties. So I am liking Brunswick. But most of the big places are West Brunswick. Which is okay but a little further afield. No more walking to work in five minutes, etc, etc. So onto my question of the day - Melville St? Is there anything on Melville St? It’s been years since I’ve been there and I will go have a walk-around soon’ish but in general - shops, restaurants, places of interest, pubs, etc, etc, etc?
