Pain in the neck

My neck has that pain in it that indicates that I am tense. It’s not an injury pain but a tension pain that I know won’t go away until I get home and lie down. That’s if I don’t already have a mountain of work to undertake when I do go home – and oh yes what a sodding surprise but I do have a ton of work. But I am the path to applying for this new job which makes me inordinately happy. I’ve started my cover letter, updated my CV and organised two references. Nervous as hell. Stomach tied up in knots. Haven’t been this serious about a job for a number of years. I think I suppose I’ve got a lot riding the outcome. I’ll be depressed as hell if I don’t get it. But I feel I’ve got a good case and a great story to tell.

As you can see most serious and thoughtful discussion absent from my blog at the moment. Maybe when I’m feeling calmer it will return.

Adios all and take care.
